Air Europa is a pseudo low-cost airline, is the third largest in Spain and is based at Madrid Barajas Airport. Its onboard services reflect that of a low-cost carrier on short-haul routes, however it offers complementary food and beverages on trans-atlantic flights. Air Europa operates a combination of short-haul narrowbody aircraft and long-haul wide-body aircraft, including variants of the A330, ATR, B737 and Embraer ERJ, with a high average fleet age of roughly 10 years. Its frequent flier program is Suma, and it is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance.
